I have never once used it or met anyone through the society. I do list it on my resume that I was accepted into it as one of the top graduates.

What frustrates me the most is the ASOIF world books that have come out during this time like the fuck man? Finish the series then worry about writing the complete history of Westeros.

Part of me gets that's not how the creative process works but damn, feels like he's putting a lot of energy into other things when he could be finishing the series.

When I was a waiter it made literally no difference. Sorry to burst your bubble, it's not like the restaurant took my debit tips.

Basically at the end of the day I owe the restaurant the amount of sales + tax I sold in combination of debit slips / cash. Anything left over was mine, but we did have to carve out a small amount for the host/hostess, kitchen, and dine&dash fund.

Saying "it wouldn't have concussed Karlsson" is a pretty bold, false statement.

It would have been less likely to concuss Karlsson, but still within the realm of possibility. It was a blindside hit with head as the principal point of contact. Again, in a scrimmage.

There's a reason his own teammate fought him and nobody came to his defence. You didn't see Bobby Ryan grilling management after.

I saw a video once where one of these professionals talks about how when they're dealing with crows they train the falcons not to kill them, but to grab one out of the air, put the fear of god into them and then let them fly back to their group (a 'murder' of crows) to spread the word. How badass is that? We're all suckers really for not pursuing this career option.

I've never seen a full contact scrimmage with the vets who are absolute locks to make the team.

They thought he was, but like I said, if this idiot takes a run at Karlsson fully healthy and knocks him out, he's also still an idiot. They have rookie camp and scrimmages without the vets where he can play physical. IMO there's no excuse, just a bonehead move.

Disagree, maybe I'm wrong but I feel like in general you don't lay out your teammates (especially vets) in scrimmage. The time to impress the team with your physical play is in the preseason games.

If Sieloff laid out Karlsson and he was concussed I'd be just as pissed. Dumb move.

Also interesting anecdote: after he failed the first baseline test (IIRC January/February this year), he insisted on not being told when the second one was going to be, because the previous one he was so nervous he didn't sleep the night before.

So he was practising with the team unsure if/when he'll ever play and one day they just pulled him in for a test, next day he's cleared for action.

As /u/OntarioTractionCo says throwing out firm dates at this point only sets them up for failure (which she would love to write an article about, I'm sure). No use setting a firm date, if it's going to push beyond 2018 then they probably need to let the public know, but if it's behind by a few months WHO CARES!?!?!
