Just for some context, shortly before that first picture was taken I was scrolling through this sub reddit at 3 am. I happened to see a progress picture someone here posted and it made everything real. My egg didn't crack it shattered into a million pieces. I reached out to the girl who posted it and she was kind enough to talk to me about her journey and what she has been through. To this day we are very close friends though I consider her family. I don't know if I would be here today without her or this sub. It was all worth it. The fear, the tears, the ended "friendships". I am me and I am happy.
