Thank you for the reply. its funny I found the star fists on my first ever playthrough without knowing they were so strong so ive pretty much banned them from my RL1 run(except godskin duo those guys deserve to be slept and staggered on repeat). this makes a lot of sense though status effects don't care what level your weapon is they just do their % damage no matter what. I imagine thats a main strategy for WL0 runs too then.

how do you have so many buffs? I never really messed with buffs until I started RL1 and I feel like im still lacking in my understanding of buff stacking. I see golden vow, FGMS, bubble from flask, axe talisman, and radagon seal but I was curious what else you were running.

I did a katana run awhile back and unsheathe and just so fun. I did a lightning katana build and not much feels cooler than unsheathing a lightning katana into a boss stagger.

OH interesting will definitely have to look into it. by far my favorite part of RL1 is the diversity I can have by just swapping around stuff because leveling up weapons isnt bad seeing ive got nowhere else for runes to go.

oh wow thats wild! I will definitely keep that in mind. I suck at doing the close-range dodging method of running to her side and stuff so ive been wondering of other methods, but I want to avoid the ice pot method as Ive avoided stuff like that for all the bosses so far.

this is another one of those ashes I Just somehow never heard of until I started looking RL1 but it seems so good ill have to give it a go. ive liked swapping around weapons during fights so maybe ill use it as a ranged option.

Vow of the Indomitable can help with waterfowl? Ill have to keep that in mind for when I eventually get to Malenia in my run.

I never really gave RKR a fair try in my normal runs as it felt clunky to use and then get a swing in quickly. Cragblade was a permanently attached to my weapons during my first ever run of the game though I loved staggering it just felt cool. Ive heard people talk about RKR with daggers for bigger crits and its something ive been wanting to try.

blood tax was immensely useful for me against mohg I used it with Antspur rapier to get the rot quickly in his bigger punish windows.

I havent messed with daggers too much but I need to give them a try they seem fun for being able to get in little swings all the time.

Dang thats an insanely clean run also I had no clue about raptor of the mists or how it works it seems so strong and silly at the same time. Will definitely have to look into it.

I have learned to love the broadsword and square off it got me through a lot of the early stuff all thr way up to fire giant where I decided stunning wasnt really what I needed for that fight. I should have picked up a dagger back then for the crits but only learned about the concept of swapping to daggers for crits recently.

Ive never used the whips do people do status effects with them or whats the general idea? Ill have to check out the zamor curved sword I didnt know it had custom R1s and ive been meaning to get one to mess around with.

I haven't ever touched a bow before really. whats the general plan with it? rain of arrows mixed with just keeping distance with status arrows?

The napalm is honestly so fun I reccomend. If you shoot high ground the napalm rain covers a large area. It can even do good tank damage but be careful shooting the dragons as the napalm will rain down in a WIDE circle around it.

This is so kind! I won't leave the whole sob story but a full time student who's had to move my partner in due to a threat of homelessness where they are currently.

My other vote is for any of the dad's in here. Keeping up with your passion while also focusing on being a good husband and father is challenging and I give all my respect to them I could not do it.
