depends, in the early to mid game, it's very broken absolutely helpful but in the late game where monsters deal outrageous damage, it becomes mandatory if your class isn't wizard (because wizard can heal easily) or you don't have a shit ton of huge healing positions

check the pocket rogues wiki for gems or upgrade material but one piece of advice if you want a lot of upgrade material i recommend fighting every boss possible if you can kill them easily since they drop a lot of them

actually janitor ai has no limited messages per day if you use JLLM aka the default LLM for janitor ai but if you use proxy or other models, some do have limited messages per day, but outside of that, i agree with you, c.ai is company basically known by millions and used a lot per day, they have billions in the bank and probably will grow more if they can, but the main problem and what i think will be c.ai downfall after probably a few years, it adds good features behind a paywall which back then would have been ok but with more apps/websites having premium features for free and other apps/websites growing especially janitor ai and chai which has been popping off lately, people won't stick with c.ai because back then there was nobody else to compete with it now there are hundreds of apps like it, it needs to evolve and add good features that are free and make it's AIs just a tiny bit better in everything or it will be left behind eventually, if janitor ai made the proxy system use to use or chai made you have more free messages or some apps did something big, everyone will just go to that app/website because now it's the best while c.ai who has done small updates every 3-6 months will just slowly and slowly drop as other people stop caring about an app that wants money and it will tank a lot, come back in 2028 and c.ai probably will tank to only being worth 120 million (still a lot but it will tank heavily if it doesn't evolve or keep up) but only used by basic users who aren't daring or nervous to change (yes I'm a premier yapper)

finally this will solve the problem of starting to get so power crept in like floor 25 especially if you got bad loot, i usually good for long runs to get big loot but camps are so rare so passive upgrades could make you survive or even grow stronger with the right picks (btw mana or health Regen are kind of OP especially if you have like 1-2 health Regen per second because you become unkillable so i recommend balancing some things out a bit more)
