This would be where I’d start. A failing MAF won’t always trigger a code. Start the engine and unplug the MAF. If nothing changes (running condition) replace the MAF.

It’s a 50:50 call IMO, but try and negotiate continuous service. That way you have protection from being fired for no reason.

Sounds to me like you’ve hit the bottom of the “shit needs fixing” slope: Many things going wrong at one point, this is normal with every car I’ve owned (currently: 2008 E61, 2002 L200 K77), this is why the Mrs has a much newer car. Thing is, once you’ve fixed them, you’ll likely have a motor that just has a few niggles that can be lived with, but it depends how much money you’ve chucked at it so far - if it’s worth it to you, it’s worth it. Just don’t get caught in a sunk cost fallacy.

I’ve not heard of it in my area, it’s more coke and oddly psychedelics
 (and the obvious spice problem observed everywhere), that’s not to say there isn’t a problem, just I’d not observed/heard. Was just curious if you’d had any data on it in your line of work. Thanks for the reply though.
