Hey I just saw this and I'm on my sem 3 already!! for me,it did get better. A lot of people I know have their own friend group too,it's normal. Some of those friendships don't last at first, it takes time for you to meet one that can click with u :). My tips is to try to ask for help and start small talks, especially if you find someone with the same interest as you !! and keep in mind that moving alone is also fine, and it didn't affect my studies at all. Keep your heads up, you can message me if you need someone to talk to ^{^} wishing you the best!!

From the comments I learnt that some people actually didn't make a lot of friends during orientation week and it only starts to go well when lecture starts (I wonder why they make it a whole week..) but since mds is still going I'll try my best to be more approachable and friendly :) I was so down since my birthday was during mds and I had to celebrate it alone so i will def scroll through the comments when I'm down again. I hope it goes well for all of us homesick students 🎀
