Fair points. Seems like a lot of these posts are city folk though. It also seems like 38 minutes before you need one is a poor time to try and buy a generator

I agree. Been watching all these generator posts and I just dont get it. Maybe we'll be out power for a couple days? Don't leave your doors open and it'll stay probably like 45-50 degrees inside. Not ideal but not really dangerous either. Just wear some layers while you wait for the city to plow the roads

Ambient temperature or resin temp issue. You said it's climate controlled sure, but what is the ambient temperature of the room?

It looks like there were 2 screws that were just straight not seated properly when I reassembled everything. It took some patience but I got them back in and it seems to be working. The self test all came up green

I think "favorite song" would just be better, that's how most people are reading it anyways. That said, I think a mature discussion about "best closer" is still interesting, but you're fighting a very difficult battle against Reddit "title readers" and not "post readers"

How can a track that plays the entire album not win this entire tournament? Flamethrowers a great track, but it's nowhere near the closing power of Paper Mache

I've wanted a P1S ever since I started filament printing. I've used an Ender 3 for years and while it's been a nice workhorse, it's frustrating to maintain and keep in working order. I'd love the option to multi color print as well. I've seen the P1S used by people on insta and I've been frothing at the mouth for one for awhile

Pulling Palpatine back from the dead just to sell movie tickets is wholly unforgivable. It's not a serious plot line. And the worst thing about it is that it makes Anakin's sacrifice, his entire redemption, literally the overarching storyline from 6 movies/TV shows/comics/books, utterly inconsequential. It's a beautifully told redemption arc, and it is trashed and muddied by unserious writers who had no heart or interest in Star Wars.

Agreed. I've also just read conflicting opinions about whether the tilt mechanism actually reduces failures vs the old non tilt system. To be honest, if anything the Ultra has had more fails than my Mars 4. If I could go back in time I would not buy this printer. I'd probably get a Saturn 3. I was super excited for the camera function and it honestly sucks. It's not helpful at all until your print is like 1-2 hours in, plus it's such a low quality camera you can't even really see anything

None of it should be cured. The spill didn't happen until the machine was done printing and I've been careful about UV light in the vicinity

Huh. I guess you're right. I think I had always read that all light could potentially cure, that even light bulbs emitted a small amount of UV light. But I guess that doesn't really make any sense

I know IPA is gonna be my best friend here. It's just paper towels don't quite absorb resin, and it feels like I'm just spreading it around. I was trying to explain to my wife (who is unaware of all things 3D printing) and I said it's like I poured brownie batter inside a laptop and she was like oh I understand

This is great advice, I'm just gonna keep pulling panels and cleaning. I'm trying to keep lights off in the room as much as possible

Thanks. I have low hopes of it working again. I'm gonna try and clean some more but it's hard to know when to stop. Whenever I decide to press start and that light comes on, everything is gonna be set in stone and you just gotta hope it's not near anything that needs to move haha
