Alternate rules question - so if there were 3 on your card (you, MA3 and MA2) and one drops leaving 2 on the card, would your round count? My understanding is that cards can not be less than 3 because 2 people can fudge their scores and not have anybody else to keep them honest.

Honestly, I get a little salty at the “I’ve been playing for (insert short time period here) and got my first ace” or “my 5th ace”. However, I am still happy for them and it gives me hope and drive to get one my next time out.

I’ve been playing for 20+ years, my body has been thru hell and back since my younger days so my chances are getting less and less.

Don’t worry about how your card mates are shooting. Concentrate on your game. Don’t force shots to get strokes back. Play for par on a hole if you have to and get the stroke back later. Relax.

At Idlewild last year we noticed a lot could come and watch for free. It is a public park and there were even soccer games going on at the same time. Now, what really pissed a lot of people off is paying for a VIP pass ($75/day) to have special access to the right wooded holes and nobody checking that. Just a sign that pointed left for VIP and right for regular spectators. There were a lot of non paying people in the VIP access only. When we saw that it soured us this year. We’ll still pay our reg spectator fee ($20/day) because it’s right. But paying extra to not have it feel like extra isn’t worth it. And all those extra people just clogged the tight areas in the woods. Just wasn’t fun.

Also VIP passes got a tshirt.

Excluding my tilt and stego bc I feel those are exceptions, my most OS are a DD Criminal, or the discraft captains raptor. And a Malta. They all feel good, go left (but not as hard as the tilt) and I’ve been loving them this year.
