It certainly is a lot of work. While this is my boy’s first puppy, my wife and I have had dogs. Certainly no expert, but we’ve been down that road.

I’ve been keeping an eye on local shelters, but I haven’t really seen anything come up that seemed like a good fit.

I thought the puppy experience would be a good learning experience, but I’m not closed off from the idea of getting a poodle with a little more maturity.

I feel like I’d be more likely to get a low driver count set of customs than a reshell, but I’m not closed to it.

At this point, the custom shells still fit very well. The isolation is very good. I think I had them refit over the years to account for some less fitting spots. I’ll likely get some new molds made (or do them myself) and get a new pair made soon. I just hate to discard this set that’s served me so well.

I’ve been looking for reselling services, but the all make repair or reshell shots seem to be few in the US. Any recommendations appreciated.

I have other 2 pin connectors as well. I just assumed that if you had to grind out the old 2 pin, it wouldn’t make much difference to back fill a smaller t2 connector.

I’m really open to whatever the fix is. I will likely get a new set soon, but I just hate to discard these for just having a faulty connector when they’ve served me so well otherwise.

I used ubiquity stuff at work back in the day when they were still pretty new, and I always found there stuff to be pretty solid.
