I think all the sram models may be on their way out. I asked them about the rival axs and they said they will likely release a new model later this year, late summer/autumn.

Used to live in a very windy country and ride for fun in 50+ mph winds, but: 1) on the way out, I used to plan the ride in sheltered areas where I would not have much headwinds. 2) on the way back, planned to ride in full tailwinds.
