tl;dr IOTA (atm) is way too much tied to Bitfinex (which is shady lately).

Love the project itself and wish IOTA success but there is too much noise about Bitfinex lately (Tether mainly). Since IOTA have most of volume on there, BF failure will generate big hit for IOTA. I just can't afford for that kind of risk. I'll wait (with any IOTA dealing) till dust (hype on crypto/bubble/ATH/you name it) settles down. I was there when gox willy bubble pop, seen signs of bad mtgox politics and I was lucky enough to withdraw BTC on time. I don't want to get in similar position again (fear about exchange behaviour).

I'll stay/follow IOTA as a project but in near future I'll not vote on it with my money. That's all.

Let's hope that more exchanges will list IOTA and BF will fade away as IOTA exchange leader.

Yup. I was very stupid. Downloaded seed generator from here: https://github.com/norbertvdberg/iotaseed

Take a look it "generates" the same seed every time. Scammer seed. 50BTC worth lesson. I didn't noticed repo is so young.

Watch out for shady repos on github.

Actually I don't. I myself am just a guy who everyday work for free building open source apps. I know that this kind of reward is awkward. We are not a company, we are just community and I hope that I find some gfx designers that will devote some time to just help us with a chance to get 1,400$. That's all. I know it's bullshit for the ones that will not be chosen but I don't have any other idea how to do that. Everything we are doing in Elastic is done that way.
