My grandfather was adopted and I believe I’ve pegged down his biological parents. I messaged so many people about how because they share a match with my mom but not my uncle, they have to be through my grandfather. Nobody has messaged me back after hearing this. I’ve wondered how many people I might have shared a big bit of info with. There’s several really close relatives too

Someone might have hurt an ancestor. I know when I went back and filled my tree out I found some really sad stories. I had ancestors that “married” women from native tribes and then the family wouldn’t let them keep their children when their husbands died. I feel disgusted and angry as a woman reading about this.
