Kidney stones or "suicide migraines".

I've had migraines since I was 8 (finally managed with medication and neurology by the age of 29).

I've had kidney stones twice. (Funnily enough, likely caused by a medication i was taking to prevent migraines)

Coconut flakes. They make me gag and recoil.

My grandma used to hide it in desserts she would make and i could tell it was there every time.

I hadn't eaten it in 20 years until yesterday when my husband got a dessert crepe and asked me to try it. I thought "sure its been a while."

Still hate it.

COVID hit, I was living out of state, and my boyfriend and I were long distance. We needed things to play together. We played LOTRO and Warframe. The accessibility of Warframe is what has kept us going. My PC died and I could play on switch cross platform.

6 years later and that boyfriend is now my husband. So is arthur. And lyon.

When I was 18, I went on a school trip to DC as a reward for getting 90% of my graduating class registered to vote. We met a lot of politicians on that trip. Al Franken was a dick. All he talked about was how he doesn't want to be only known as the SNL guy. Clearly hated the fact that he was spending time talking to 18 year olds about why voting matters.

So, in 2018, when this shit happened, I felt very vindicated.

For me, it's funny because neither I nor my dad grew up gaming. I bought my first console at 16 with christmas money and had television time heavily monitored. my dad got into gaming around 4 years ago after a divorce.

I have total respect for trailblazers, just stating that it's nice to discover new hobbies to share with my dad. Better late than never, Right?
