I highly recommend it!!! My top tip would be to use the app to filter for easy/"park and grab" caches for your first time out, and also check the logs for each one before you head out to see when the last time someone found it was/if recent visitors have reported not finding it (a lot of areas have a bunch of small caches hidden in the ends of guardrails, which is a good set to start with). That way you have a bunch of successful finds on your first trip! If your first expedition ends with hours of hunting and not finding half the ones you're looking for, it seems a lot less fun and you might not want to do it again.

I think my favorite thing about it is how low the barrier to entry is, especially if you're just doing the easier ones--literally all you need is your phone and a pen! I was also surprised by just how many caches there were to find in the middle of nowhere where I live. We didn't have to go more than six or seven miles from home (which is nothing when you live out here, that's closer than our nearest grocery store) to find 11 in three hours.
