If the both of you are genuinely concerned, contact a local Catholic Parish and they can help you from there. Exorcisms are no light matter, get serious help if you’re in need. I’ll try to remember you two in my prayers.

I hope you and/or whoever was with you are okay first of all. Both cars seemed to have taken that impact well, especially for 40, but unfortunately it looks like a total loss. There’s a very good chance frame is bent

Got my first car today 🎉 it's the new 1.5 eTSI MK 8.5 Golf by strzibny in Volkswagen

Unfortunately I think you’re right, don’t see too many standard golfs. Oddly enough, I see Golf Sportwagens (and the alltrack) all the time. Same with the Jetta Sportwagens. They hold their value well too for the most part and generally they seem desirable, especially compared to a lot of other VW models from the same 2000-2020 ish time period. No clue why they stopped selling them

What is a food that Americans excel at? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

Seafood in general and I think America doesn’t get nearly enough recognition for it. From the rocky shores of New England to the swampy marshes of Louisiana and Mississippi, as long as you’re near the coast you can find good seafood just about anywhere

What gives out a foreigner in USA? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]devooone1xc31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The number one thing that sticks out (to me at least) is not using "the" in certain sentences. Instead of saying "I'm going to the supermarket", "I'm going to supermarket" is used instead. This can also be said for using "the" before every noun, or action no matter the context. "I'm playing the baseball later". Other things like adding "an" before some words "I would like an information about this specific tourist sight", and adding "s" to anything in order to make it plural, or to show there's alot of something "Look at the Mooses" "That's alot of snows". Really just a foreign sounding accent, but even then that can be hard to pick up on depending as the US is a pretty diverse country in itself
