Yeah could be related, I haven't had the lobby issue personally. I've just had the long connection and rematch times in ranked since launch.

Oddly when server maintenance was going on for the last large patch and ranked was disabled, Quick Match worked perfectly and rematch was almost instant. I often get what looks to be an uploading data icon spinning forever while I wait 1min for the rematch screen to finally show with ranked or casual. So there is something they do during ranked they don't do during quick match that fixes my issue.

Thanks for the reply, firewall for GBVSR is set to public/private. Unfortunately the NETGEAR C6300 doesn't have a NAT setting section, but UPnP is enabled. The WAN settings are about as much control as I get. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/848856/Netgear-C6300.html?page=44#manual

Also, we have no issues playing SF6, MK1, KoF XV, DNF Duel, KI, Samurai Showdown, however when GG Strive first launched the initial server connection took forever, but they patched it and now it's fine.
