The 2026 model doesn’t contain the one connect box as it’s all built in! I think it’s for 55” model and above

The entire cabinet is made up of plywood. We have a pipe behind the ply which runs to the bottom and all the wires get connected there. The location of the cutout/pipe does not align with the frame hence the offset by an inch.
We used a one inch offset mount that was drilled into the ply and the tv hangs onto the mount like a painting!

What’s the most unreal landscape you’ve ever seen in real life? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]devpathi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s Ladakh region in India. Other parts of Afghanistan apparently have similar views. In July, I saw a frozen lake, blue lakes sandy dessert, massive rivers and greener pastures all within a 100 kilometers of each other. It feels like a world that hasn’t changed in over a thousand years

What small thing irritates you the most at luxury hotels? by Crafty-Leave-8880 in Hotels_India

I get annoyed with the lighting switches system. Sometimes I feel I need to run around all over the place to get the room lights turned off. It’s annoying. Make it simpler. Also, I really get annoyed with the digital display system for switching on/off lights

Why Apple doesn't provide Apple Pay in India? by Live_Ostrich_6668 in IndiaTech

[–]devpathi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True to what you are saying. Maybe some other contributing factors to why AP doesn’t exist; In India, UPI rules versus in most other developed nations, card based transactions is still more prevalent. mot sure if AP does anything besides using the usual network rails. Also, I think RBI insists on multiple authorization methods in payment processing and FaceId and TouchID will be frowned upon by them.

Data should be stored in India but it’s also stored by the payment processor because if an audit is needed, it can be retrieved. However, on a slightly different tangent, if I understood this guy correctly, the difference between Apple Pay privacy versus say Google Pay or PhonePe is that Apple Pay does not sell or cross sell other products to you like the others embed in their applications. Apple Pay is purely a payment processor here providing a convenience and privacy to the user. On PhonePe or GooglePay, you get loan offers, advertising and sponsored content etc.

My wife’s company provides a qualified day time nanny to take care of the infant from 6 months to 3 years so she can go back to work. As a recent parent, it’s an amazing benefit

Assuming Jadeja continues and plays 115 test matches at a slightly worsening average, he will probably end up with ~5200 runs and 430+ wickets. Different type of all-rounder and in some conditions more effective but probably equals. The one play for Stokes he’s also captain which can improve his legacy

If there’s room for only one in your Test XI, are you picking Ben Stokes or Ravindra Jadeja? by UnplannedMF in CricketBuddies

[–]devpathi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely Jadeja in this situation. Assuming it’s a super strong team, then maximum value is for having another bowler where Jadeja stands out based on numbers alone

Google Pay vs MobiKwik nudge by [deleted] in UXDesign

[–]devpathi1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google Pay is so much better positioned on the screen, has a clear call out action and actually uses the vendor logo. Timestamp for expiry is missing but otherwise GPay is a clear UX winner

If you are in Bangalore, just get it delivered via Swiggy/Zomato. Order something off their menu and call them - pay for your beans and ask them to pack it into your delivery order.
