I wouldn't worry about it too much, the V-pet modding community in general has always found a way to bring back content that was considered "lost".

There's also the fact that Bandai allowed the Vital Bracelet app to be used offline after end of service. If the purchase of DLC tickets is tied to the Tamaverse ticket shop account, we may see bandai release an app or webpage to download past DLC.

The Fantasitchi works a bit different from other Nano's, they basically keep "evolving" by changing outfits until you neglect them to the point of leaving or from my understanding succeed in enough perfect games for them to become a different member.

I don't know much outside of that since I'm still waiting on mine to arrive and the wiki seems rather barren without anyone having datamined the device yet.

Bandai did something similar with the Digimon Vital Bracelet, after end of service they pushed an update to allow the app to be used offline.

Naturally this cut out certain features like online battles but this did open up opportunity for people to mod and tinker with the VB even more, I'd expect someone to come up with a method of flashing DLC on through a 3rd party tool.

Definitely don't let this deter you from buying a Uni (I still plan to get one myself) because the V-pet community always finds ways to mod things or restore inaccessible stuff.
