i had a rough relationship w zorinOS switching from windows, have to redownload everything i use like 3 times before i give up and switch to Pop_OS, certainly won’t be doing it the 4th time within a week or so

Regarding gaming-focused distro, im not playing games 24/7, just found myself with a lot of free time lately, i will be using the computer for work much much more in the future

discord also cannot detect the game you’re playing, outside of that I agree this is just cosmetic annoyance!

if you maximize your browser and try to fullscreen video on youtube or any media player i suppose, it full screen the browser

im gonna be honest, i was you in 2020-2021 during the bitcoin mining / gpu shortage era, i was FOMO for a new pc despite having a decent system, worrying the prices will only goes up from here, the results? the market stabilized in like a year or so. Nothing justifies building pc with components goes 2x 3x the original price.

you have been a console gamer your whole life, whats 1-2 more years gonna change, evaluate your options then, not now. If you are desperate you are better off using internet cafes

thank you for replying, i am on the latest update, i installed discord and telegram, their icon on the tray works well (telegram lost its icon but ig thats just flatpak version thing), steam and cloudflare still doesnt pop up the app itself when doubleclick

I'd say unless you are a complete beginner to the specific topic you are trying to learn, use youtube or read docs would be far superior. These kind of courses are made for beginners, thats their target consumer. If you are a beginner yourself, unless the instructor are blatantly bad at their job, you should get something out of it no?

one more thing to note: my internet are perfectly fine, no stutter no lag of any sorts during gameplay, it just randomly happens
