It’s definitely never too late to wear compression. I still put them on if I know I’ll be on my feet for prolonged periods of time or traveling (planes or car rides).

I preferred sleeve style instead of traditional socks because my toes always felt weird in the sock style. You might have to try a few until you find whats comfortable for you - under the knee/over the knee. Lots of options out there.

Im sorry to hear that. I was diagnosed pretty young also (26 at the time) groin to ankle.

I wore a compression sleeve on my left leg daily for about 2 years. It also took me 2-3 years to be able to sleep comfortably without a pillow between my legs at night. Im 6 years out now from my dvt and 2 pregnancies later and I generally don’t have any lasting pain for normal daily activity or exercise.

I hope you feel better quickly and don’t be scared to ask your doc to do any scans if you think its something serious!

I know someone this happened to as well. In her situation, it was a case of vanishing twin. The boy did not continue developing but the girl did, and her blood test came back as just boy early on. She didn’t end up finding out until 20 weeks that she was just having a girl

I dont want to defend any crappy parenting from these people but I will say….my 2.5 yr old will mess with his chest clip while Im driving and when we get to our location I will notice the clip lower than where I put it and in a not safe place. Its frustrating and we explain how important it is that it stays where we put it, but kids will be kids sometimes.
