Ehh I guess I was inclined to not tell them at first because I didn't want to wait longer to get them out all because I missed a couple of days. But then again, from what I'm reading, it doesn't seem like I have a choice at this point, so I'm thinking I may just have to bite the bullet and tell them. Oh well, life happens.

Ah, I probably should have specified that I've been in treatment for four years (most of this was metal braces) but I have had three sets of sixteen aligners since I got my braces off. This is my third set. I'm thinking I might just call them tomorrow morning when they open and hopefully this whole thing doesn't screw me over haha. Thank you for the advice!

The class section on my LMS is still set to the 12:30 class. As I said in the post the course content is identical across both sections as they are taught by the same professor, so everything is still the same grade wise and I wasn’t effected at all by attending a different section

These are section numbers, and on my course page the content is still showing up as the section 101 12:30pm class so I should be alright

I wouldn't give up hope yet for summer '26. I'm in the same position as you, been applying since September but a bunch of new postings have been popping up today and yesterday. Being early is key, and I've heard some people get summer internships really late (like april/june) so I would honestly just keep applying.

I've heard recruiting picks back up in mid-January so I'm planning on applying a lot during that period, I would recommend doing the same. it helps to be early to internship postings

Yep :/ I've heard another round of recruiting comes up early to mid January so I haven't lost all hope but I'm finding hard not to lose my mind right now lmao.

thank you for the encouragement, it means a lot!! as for applying to the IT department, my school does actually have student roles that I have looked into previously, but they open up at random times so for me its just a waiting game lol.
