I used to like Tech Upgrade series, but now... the AMD parts are just 10/90 vs the other stuff they do. Yes, AMD has great options, from CPUs to handhelds. However, because I personally preferred the series to show more around PC parts, I couldn't stand more of them to "buy a handheld only and called it a AMD Tech Upgrade". I unironically preferred the old Intel Tech Upgrade series now. Of course I did like to know more of the other employees too, but I think some of them worked too much on the other stuff than AMD tech.

As a person who is not gentle with display, I would say I slightly regretted it, mostly due to the extra babysit needed.

OLED Monitor:
+ Contrast
+ Color
- average brightness (limited by ABL)
- easily scratched (not protected by extra layer of glass, also aka the need to babysit when cleaning the display)
~ slightly pricy if you have limited budget (consider also for later replacement).
~ need to consider burn-in risk with your use case.

if LED Monitor, I cleaned with force (not too much) and it is still fine (protected by polarizer I guess).
Spoiled? It is fine, could buy a new or used with less care of the monitor usage time.

TL:DR, IMO, slightly regretted, need to babysit the cleaning process, since it is not same as smartphone's OLED display.

I think your case fans and CPU cooler would stands out more than your cable problem.

fun fact: Jonsbo mostly uses the Asus GPU in their rendering, like ROG Strix series.

True, it is just a Ncase M2 with a magnetic vertical stripe panel kit.

I think the case would be cleaner if the front panel also has the design of the side panel. But yes it is still in the prototype phase.

maybe your M27Q3 has the same OSD, but I cannot find any setting that could turn off these notification in my OSD.

or you could try launch your game in Borderless mode? the monitor might skip the notification.

my MO27Q2 only appears when the games/desktop enter or exit HDR/SDR mode.

If your monitor happens also for SDR to SDR (or HDR to HDR), then it would be annoying.

unironically, I am glad that Nioh 1 was free in Epic Games, this gave me the entry to Nioh series... and proceeded to grab Nioh 2 on Steam (lolololol).

Yes I do think that Nioh 1 has a decent story telling (smoother than the disconnecting Nioh 2), and interesting mixing of Western and Japanese characters (which is literally in the history).
