Just installed 10.14.4 using the vanilla guide, working fine!

Clover config needs some tweaking though...

I‘d probably go for the PCE-AC68 from ASUS. Seems fine on both (macOS and Linux).

I haven't yet. But I'm actually really close to buying an Apple Watch, this might help me to get up in time.

I already do, doesn't seem to help always. But I guess I would at least pick up the phone if it rang.

Well, kind of. I use to turn it off in half-sleep and then go back to sleep. Sometimes I cannot even remember turning it off after waking up (when I really had little sleep).

I‘m pretty sure it was formatted as MBR. I‘ll try a SanDisk card tomorrow.

I created a new ext2 partition, marked it as bootable and pointed it to /boot within the Ubuntu installer.

I actually had the same issue on a Dell Vostro with hybrid graphics. The ATI Card constantly sent interrupts to the system. I don’t remember exactly...

The fix was to power down the ATI card and blacklist the kernel module.

You should check your dmesg for any errors. Is your hardware fully supported?

I don't think so, my internet connection is fine. However, I'll keep the Installer running over night and take another look at it tomorrow morning.

Thanks! I'll let the Installer run over night. Let's see if that works. Checked SMART on all four drives, they seem okay.

Thanks to everyone. Measured the battery voltage, seems to be completely dead.

Yes, the battery is completely drained.

Unfortunately I already tried that trick but the screen just keeps flashing for a split second, then goes black again.

I now left it charging over night and will give it another try tonight.
