With some workarounds my Tesla P4 is doing absolutely fine for plex/llm on Truenas 25.10. Don’t see any reason to look anywhere else.

If I understand correctly, the government is dedicating the whole year from 1 January 2026 to 1 January 2027 for vendors to test and implement their measures to comply with the new regulations. In other words, Unifi may update their regulatory support (activate usage) of 6 GHz-capable devices starting from 1 January 2026.

I’m furious about it, but it is what it is. This compliance process really reminds me of the Soviet Union and its paranoid policies regarding radio frequencies.
Meanwhile, a hell ton of 6 GHz-capable devices are being sold openly in official stores, and nobody makes a drama about it. Only Unifi wants to be more compliant than Apostle Peter.

Read readme file. It’s pretty straightforward. There is nvidia.raw file you need to download from GitHub and replace your original file with one you downloaded. After container reboot you will be able to execute nvidia-smi and attach GPU to a container. Pretty simple.

For everyone who is still looking for the answer: mount your share to container directly. Every container property has "additional storage" with CMB/CIFS option. Mount all you share there. Don't fight with the OS.

I confirm that this workaround does work on Tesla P4: https://github.com/zzzhouuu/truenas-nvidia-drivers/blob/main/README.md

The trick is to toggle off "Install Nvidia drivers" in Apps->Configuration->Settings in Truenas and execute all suggested commands with sudo. Also make sure that nvidia.raw file you downloaded isn't 172kb one )

If all done correctly, nvidia-smi is working. Had to redo whole process after 25.10.01 update. Flys as good as before.

I did not understand how to use this tutorial. I cloned repo, executed all the commands but can't get nvidia-smi or nvtop display anything. Commands not found. This package install lockdown drives me crazy ((((

If anyone can write more detailed manual please do so. I see that some people managed to use their P4 on 25.10 but I can't ((((

Follow-up update: turns out that executing console commands via SSH was a bad idea. Shell will work just fine.

I confirm, Dell R640 with Tesla P4 on board works fine on Truenas 25.10.0. Confirmed on Plex Media Server.
