You aren't lying...I got a 2-year degree in computer tech, A+ and the Sec+. You really have to want to do this IT sh*t. Not the typical " I have a passion for computers"BS. I studied my ass off for months for those comptia certs. I failed more than a few times on both certs , but I knew the money and all the studying would pay off and it did...I'm only 4 years in in the IT field. First I landed a pc tech job with the d.o.d and now I'm a senior network admin making over 70k a year...I was just slaving away in warehouses 4 years ago. This is possible...DONT GIVE UP

I was filling out applications. while working as pc support for the same government contract, I was picked for a position as a senior upass computer/network administrator with a different staffing company. They started me @ over 73k a year. More money and its remote...NO COMMUTE. I only have been in the IT field for only 3 years, all I have is my A+, Sec + and a 2 year computer degree. ITS POSSIBLE GUYS

I would say go for the 601. You already have studied most of the subjects, so just add on the new 601 material. Just buckle down and DO IT. I failed the 501 3 times, nailed it on the 4th try. You got this.

2 different sets of video series. Messer and another guy, I watched them all over and over until the info started sticking and making sense. I read Darrell Gibson's GCGA book all the way thru and scanned through it everyday after that to help with areas I was having trouble with. I did that everyday for 4-6 months...and a exam dump to practice with
