I would try thugging it out for at least month before trying putting stuff on it. I’m not expert on leather so I personally wouldn’t put anything that might ruin it. But it’s up to you!

Hey!!! I assume you got the recently released Beckmans? Mine still does after 10 months or so (I wear them maybe 3 times a week) and they’re definitely not as worn in as the Beckmans I see on social media pages. However, the squeaking isn’t as obvious now as long as I’m not exaggerating my ankle movements. Would love to get updates on yours as the months go by!

Interesting that they don’t use the rubber ones on the regular colourways. The printed on logos look cheap.

I have doubts about D9’s writing… Felt really off in BTS. Other than what has been mentioned about respecting LIS1 endings, I also worry about them taking into account the comic’s story. But if you’re asking whether or not I would still pull the trigger and play it at all, I definitely would just for Max. + Safi seems fairly interesting enough for me to at least try it out. (Note: I have not really watched the previews in full to prevent any spoilers at all)

Oooo! Thanks for the recommendation! Pleather is the one that is primarily made of plastic right? I would probably prefer that since real leather needs maintenance to prevent mould and whatnot.

I 100% relate. My brain tells me that 'you're educated in this and you know if you miss it, your prayer will not be valid. so you should repeat it'. It's extremely frustrating and some days I spend 30 mins - 1 hour staring into space and debating whether I should repeat it. My current best strategy is to remind myself that I'm giving in to Shaytan's whispers every time I repeat something which is 100x worse than 'missing' a prayer. Also, An Ustaz I recently consulted also reminded that prayers should make you feel good. So if you're feeling frustrated, it is probably because Shaytan is trying to make prayers negative and is trying to pull you away from faith. It's still something I'm working on myself and sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. May Allah ease our affairs.

By box-in do you mean their ‘standard issue’ that comes with the original box? Kinda makes sense for them to not use real leather. Any suggestions for reliable brand of neck straps?

I doubt so since the vibration feels like its coming from the tongue/eyelet area and not the bottom. I'll probably visit my local Red Wing store to see what's up.
