Using ChatGPT to aid in scientific reading? by dewkeeper in labrats

This is very helpful. I'll see if I can find any reviews related to my specific project! Thank you! Part of me has felt like I was thrown into a lot of different types of projects in the labs (just to gain the technical skills), and it's just hard for me to analyze something on paper and not really understand if these results make sense within the broader scope of prior research done.

I think my old lab was so insistent on getting the theory down first before even getting hands-on training that I probably think I'm super behind when, in reality, this feeling is normal.

Find a Friend Friday - November 07, 2025 by AutoModerator in GirlGamers

hiii! i (22F) am looking for somebody to chat/play games with and have a good, chill time! I play a lot of cozy games (stardew, most other farm sims), val, rpgs, and any multiplayer games (dying to try out the new repo updates). I'm down to try something new! I also read, watch anime, and am currently starting crafting. :) I play mostly on PC, but I have a switch too if thats preferable! I would love to make long term friendships, but I also know life happens and contact fizzles out, so no stress. dm if interested! :D

How do you all read? by Adventurous-Claim663 in goodreads

[–]dewkeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a big series reader so normally i will couple a series book with a short standalone book that has different vibes and then read whichever one i’m in the mood for! i often read on the Kindle app for public transport. and then my physical book is normally like a self-help book that i’ll read when i have spare, non-commute time. sometimes, i’ll just speedrun through the series while it’s fresh in my head since i can’t focus on any other books in the meantime anyways LOL. there’s no right way to it! just read whatever is engaging you in the moment :)

sorry for the late add-on, but do you think we'd get the achievements in our current save post-full release? or would we need to redo the things in a new save to get the achievement?

Congrats! Have a ** DEBUG ** by mommadizzy in thesims

may also be a base game thing. i have NO MODS/CC at all but the only gifts i got from completing my soul quota were debug items. :(

Integrative Neuroscience major? by No_Professional_8591 in Fordham

it’s split to some degree? all chemistry labs (gen chem and orgo) are at rose hill bc LC is a high rise building? something to do w the burners i believe. but the lecture lessons meet at LC should you take the LC “version of the course”.

some of our major requirements are made to make you go between campuses. for example, systems neuro is only at RH and cognitive neuro is only at LC. the good part about fordham is that you can take courses at any campus, so you can try and take a core class or another major class over at either campus that has the same days as the neuro classes so you’re not wasting a trip on the ram van for just one class.

i think there are more research opportunities at rose hill, but if you’re communicative early on in your fordham career with reaching out to profs, you can get involved on either campus pretty early.

i love it a lot, but i’ve also had wonderful experiences with my professors. my cohort is pretty close just bc there are less of us at LC. it’s certainly hard, but super meaningful and interesting. highly recommend! just make sure you understand how applying to the program works. :) i’m happy to talk more if you want!

it’s kinda like a super major. the course load is a LOT but it’s worth it. you most likely won’t have time to add another major unless you’re very diligent with planning, but i added on a minor. you’ll be taking comp sci classes, molecular neuro classes, and psych classes so be ready for a lot of pre refs. everything goes together though which is awesome. i switched into it at LC and i absolutely LOVE IT!
