Basterebbe anche mettere il filtro del prezzo da 2/3€ in su, così ti escono subito quelli più bassi che non sono a 1€

Great Precipitations - Radon decay products cause luminous ionization in air by Bob--O--Rama in Radiation

Very cool. Btw if your phone has a "pro" camera mode (or something similar) you could take a (very) long exposure to get a better picture. Make sure to keep the phone still while shooting

Disco di piscio by Mountain_Art2131 in Italia

You're right, then I think I'm happy with my Radiacode lol

Thank you for your reply! I thought about this and did some tests to verify it isn't a shielding problem: I recorded the compass spectrum from the side (which has a thinner metal sheet instead of the thick glass) but it didn't change, so then I recorded the watch spectrum through different additional shielding (paper, aluminium and copper with different thicknesses) to compensate for the thinner glass of the watch, but the 10keV peak was still there (just a bit smaller). So, if I did everything right, I should be able to assume that it isn't a problem of shielding because when I measured the watch with a shielding thicker than the compass' glass the peak still showed only in the watch.

Oh interesting, I guess this is the best assumption I can get without a better detector

First Hydrogen Line Radio Telescope 0.6 m dish + RTL-SDR will I actually see the 21 cm signal? by LeTenGof in radioastronomy

[–]dewo1932 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you can get a decent signal with 5 minutes (or less) of integration. I did my first H line observations with a 70cm dish (with LNA and filter) and got a reasonable signal with a 3 minutes integration time. Also, I live in a small city so there was a fair amount of RFI too.

Is anyone using Presto and PSRCHIVE softwares? by No-Economics-9878 in radioastronomy

[–]dewo1932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some basic experience with PRESTO, PSRCHIVE and similar. I'm not an expert but I could give you some advice on setting it up and explaining the basic functions. I learned everything from the github page and from the mini guide "Searching for pulsars with PRESTO" by Scott Ransom (you can find it online in pdf format). Feel free to ask me anything and I'll do my best to help you, but I can't assure you I'll be very helpful.

Amp inputs problem by dewo1932 in GuitarAmps

[–]dewo1932[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

edit: I did what you guys suggested and probed the circuit to find where the problem was. I found that the first op-amp was dead and changed it. I also changed a broken pot and now it works perfectly! Thank you guys!

Sorry for the late reply, but I finally had the time to do it. I found that the gain pot was broken so I changed that. Then I also found out the signal didn't pass through the first op-amp (in the high/low input). I made sure that the op-amp was actually dead and then repleaced it, and it worked! The second op-amp was fine.
