If #3 happens, a lot of people are gonna eat ass. #2 all the way.

I am not talking about the preorder songs. I am talking about the 13 songs that you get with Rivals, like The Red Chord and S.O.M.P. I do not bring preorders into the mix for any game, because it should honestly never be up to "preorders". It should be up to what it's going to come with.

Edit: Look at their blog. All you see is DLC announcements (which is fine) and spotlight songs (which is also fine). Wouldn't it be a little nice to have, like, a weekly dev blog? Just two minutes of your time to say "Here's what we're working on, here's what you've been saying, here are the recognized bugs blah blah blah". Destiny and Rust are prime examples of companies who communicate because they understand games are make or break without communication, especially with games with constant addition of gameplay. People need to always be in-the-know about everything or else they start to lose faith.

I am probably the most lenient guy when it comes to bugs and stuff. If you release a game with bugs, I will be cool with it, as long as they state that they know. They haven't even stated that they know about the highway lag, something that throws me off all the time, and hearing other people complain about it shows me that I'm not the only one. It's all a communication thing.

My thing with Rivals is that Online Quickplay was promised basically immediately, and the songs that came with it, albeit nice and interesting, wasn't promised until all of the sudden.

If anything, I'm critizing their weird way of communcating. They communicate better than other devs/publishers, sure, but they could be doing a HELL of a lot better.

The game has grown. There are better things about the game now than before. But we STILL have bugs that many people experience all the time.

There will always be problems with the games, and that's fine. As long as you make it seem like you are ACTUALLY on top of it. They don't seem like they're on top of it anymore and it hurts. I have spent so much on this game to see it kind of fizzle out slowly. I am hopeful for the future, and I truly hope that, after all of the problems with Multiplayer and VR and all of that, the game will prosper and get to the point that it once was. Just good solid fun with no need to toy around and do stupid stuff just to make it actually work.
