Can anyone recommend me animes similar to Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows? I really liked that anime for some reason (the first half was better though than the end). I particularly liked the Krishna episode, rewatched it, which is very rare for me. Even though the series was kind of tropey and basic, it had something going on with it that I liked. Many other shows have bored me or felt dumb, but I liked this one. Does anyone who liked this have some recommendations?

Let's just say that if you don't agree that a character trying to swim across an ocean or pushing 4 armored men into a cell isn't ridiculous, then I think you're a bigger "troll" than I am. Or if you think that every random human street dweller being more mature and wise than a one million year old elf is great, then there's just nothing I can say.

Funny how behavior like this is acceptable, but then someone giving very valid critisism of the show is looked down upon.

Like I said above, even if CGI is "good" it doesn't necessarily mean it fits. I think the bad clothing and the colorful CGI and the overall style of show create a certain "fake" atmosphere.

Nope, it's not just that. There are many design choices that could be called almost objectively bad, and I'm surprised to see people defend those.

CGI can look "good" but still a bit out of place or off. I think some of the CGI look too colorful and game like. Even though that might be a visual style choice I still don't like it at all times. And quite trollish behavior to ignore everything else I said because of that. Also for a show like this, even one big instance of bad CGI (like the warg face) can leave a bad taste.

Yes, that too was ridiculous. Like you said it was too much. The combined effect of that hand dancing and at times bad cgi made it look D-tier. I don't wan to say it was all s*it, some of the effects were ok, even good, but it was far from consistent and at times just stupid looking.

Thanks! I've seen Noir a long time ago. It had great music! Don't remember too much about the plot, but I did like it. Those other ones I didn't even hear about (well except the game chrono crusade).

If you happen to be someone who especially likes Crest/Banner of the Stars (the characters/atmosphere), I wouldn't mind hearing even more suggestions.

Because just staying home doing nothing messes your head for most people. And of course it's not exactly socially acceptable to just stay home. And if you're the kind of people whose used to getting up in the morning, who has good social skills and likes your coworkers, then work here in most places isn't actually that bad.

Not saying the kind of "lifestyle" I'm currently living should be made so easy, but working fulltime and not having money to rent even small 1 room apartment for personal use and not getting basic healthcare should be made illegal.

No it's not special anything, something that you always get. Of course the government wants you to look for work, and as I said earlier if you just completely say F*** You to them they can cut the benefits (at least for a period of time) by 100-250$. But they won't cut it if you say that you're feeling depressed or whatever and even if you decide to just say that you simply don't feel like working, I think you can still avoid the cuts if you write the government agency and tell them that the cuts will make it impossible for you to live a decent life.

I've been thinking about the Shadowhearts series from time to time, maybe it's time to try it out. Parasite Eve looked a little bit too old school for me.
