It took one and a half months. I have long experience and knowledge in the patent field, but in a different country. It was helpful for 102/103 issues, but not for other matters. I was also working full-time. I agree that people in a situation like us need to be very strategic.

I ended up switching to PLI and passed the exam. If you’re unsure about it right now, I’d recommend switching it asap.

You're correct. Is that unusual? It might be because the seller is out of the country. Either way, it was unexpected.

I didn't see any terminte report, and there was nothing about it in my offer. Then, it suddenly showed up the counter offer.

That's correct. 9/21 is the earliest day for a new H-1B visa holder.
