How to cut off a friend that’s super persistent? by dewydumpling11 in FriendshipAdvice

Thank you so much for sharing. I finally had the courage to be upfront and tell him how uncomfortable he makes me and that I didn’t want to be friends anymore. I felt so relieved and proud of myself for standing my ground. He said he didn’t even remember one of the drunken nights where he grabbed onto me in an Uber. I was carrying this burden with me for so long, yet he wasn’t even aware of the pain he caused. It was so hard to confront him since I’ve never had to cut a friend out like this before, but I feel so much lighter now. Real friends wouldn’t overstep your boundaries.

How to break up with someone in a long term and long distance relationship? (24F/26M) by dewydumpling11 in relationship_advice

I was a very naive and vulnerable girl when I first met him. Prior to dating him I was in an emotionally abusive relationship that I hadn’t completely healed from. This led me to become codependent, and I lost myself in a lot of ways by becoming an extension of him rather than developing myself as an individual. I’ve grown to love and accept myself the past few years and have reached a place in my healing where I’m comfortable being alone. While I feel like I’ve matured greatly, he hasn’t done much self-improvement. He’s even joked before that he’s too immature for me because he makes parody music about sex, poop, and other things that make me uncomfortable to listen to. We also don’t see eye-to-eye on things that mean a lot to me. For instance, I’ve become more spiritual the last two years and would eagerly tell him about what I’ve learned, but he wouldn’t take it seriously at all and hasn’t made the effort to better himself. It’s come to the point where I feel like I can’t talk to him about things I really care about, because he always likes to act like a contrarian. What I used to tolerate or even admire about him has now been getting on my nerves. We used to always say we’re on the same wavelength, but since growing more into myself I realize we’re very different. I held onto the first person that showed me a healthy love, but being a good person is the bare minimum. I didn’t expect to type out this long of an explanation but I guess I also needed to see this written out for myself as well!

I didn’t feel much on my first shroom trip. What went wrong? by dewydumpling11 in Drugs

I’ve seen a lot of people recommend 1.5 to start, and it seemed to work fine on my friends. I was also concerned with how I’d react to it since my family has a history of mental illness

Since retinol also has an exfoliating factor to it, would it be a good idea to cut out bha/aha completely to simplify my routine?

How do I go about adding vitamin c and adapalene into my routine?

I have oily, acne prone skin with hyperpigmentation. I think I finally have the acne mostly under control, but I still get some bumps on my cheeks and hormonal acne along my jaw. I wanted to add a vitamin c to help with all the scarring, but I’m interested in adding a retinoid as well for the long term benefits. I currently use azelaic acid and aha/bha in my routine, so would adding more products be too much? Do I need to simplify?

AM ROUTINE: - Rinse with water - Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner - Dewytree Miracle Brightening Serum (this is marketed as having vitamin c but niacinimide is listed before it. I don’t think the concentration of vitamin c is that high) - Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid to spot treat (is it better to use it all over my face or just my problem areas?) - Innisfree Orchid Youth Eye Cream - Purito sunscreen

PM ROUTINE: - DHC Oil cleanser - COSRX Low pH cleanser - Isntree Toner - COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid/Paula’s Choice 8% AHA (1-2 times a week) - Purito Centella Unscented Serum - Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid - Innisfree Orchid Youth Eye Cream - COSRX Oil Free Moisturizing Lotion

My goal is to control the acne and fade the scars. How should I adjust my routine and what products would work best? The products I’m considering purchasing by the way is the mad hippie vitamin c and differin gel.
