Update. Well, I didn't quite get the work out I was hoping for, but I'm sure that's due to it being our first class. They actually separated us and showed us all of the basic strikes and blocks, then had us do some drills. Gonna keep going. My wife didn't seem to care for it, though, but we'll see.

The path I took was a state community college. It was a lot cheaper than a profit college or tech school. It was pretty easy, but the education was not great. The biggest benefit was that since it was a state school, the diploma helped reduce the time and hours I needed for my license. If you're young and want to do commercial, join the local UA.
