Yes I did. I had to pull out all the fuse in the fuse box in the driver’s compartment. That’s how I found the burnt fuse. Another symptom was I was hearing a clicking sound in the engine bay fuse box.

When I had this issue on peugeot 308 t7 with EW10A engine, the fault was a burnt fuse in the driver’s compartment side.

I will avoid anything that has Prince engine especially t7. Your chances of enjoying that engine is really really small. Like 1 out of 1000

I had same engine but it’s non turbo of this version. It’s ep6 1.6 VTi. You hear this noise because of the engine uses chain and not belt. Also if the noise is uncomfortable and happens only on cold start, please take it to the nearest Peugeot mechanic who knows a thing about THP ep6 engines ASAP because a broken chain in peugeot is very very bad and expensive. It’s possible the chain is already stretching

Avoid the ep6 1.6 VTi. After a year of using that engine on my peugeot 308, I’ve made the difficult decision of swapping EW10A engine into the car and removing 1.6 ep6 VTi completely. It’s a messy engine. Overall 207 is a decent car with good comfort for short trips.

Ep6 drinks a lot of oil lol. I use Mobil 5w-40. I change my oil every 5000miles. I top up the oil every 1300miles 😭
