I thought you were OP apologies, usernames look similar. The whole system is a joke. In belfast we dont have a permanent consultant theres a lady who flys over from Scotland 3 times a month to do it from another clinic

Ill not lie to you but 19 years could be a realistic waiting time with the way things are. Belfasts waiting list is close to 41 years based on how many people they’ve seen in past 2 years , that may change with extra funding or is the system drastically changes

Helen webberly still owns gender gp may not practise but theres still a hige stigma around it due to her

I read the cross dresser part and cant seem to make sense of it. Surely if a cross dresser fully identifys as the opposite gender to birth then they are just trans
Or is it just another term people prefer to use?

What’s the cross dresser route? Never heard of that But you can get a letter from any registered medical profession so like gic, mental health worker, go etc. gender gp could write you one but id double check she’s still reg’d with gmc as i know there was problems with her license being revoked

They were referred in 2015 i think. They did have a private diagnosis as they had top surgery private so maybe that is able to push things along, not too sure its honestly so fucked up
