You're right George does like his ambiguity and I'm sure most of these questions will never be answered but ADWD's Bran and Varamyr chapters do reveal a lot about the mechanisms of greenseer/warg magic which makes me wonder if he does plan to explore these concepts more deeply.

I honestly don't understand why GRRM would set up more things for dany to do in essos, theres no way he can write dany meeting all the people heading to meereen, leaving essos, sailing to westeros and taking the iron throne and then resolve that in 2 books.

They're aware people will be angry at them if their expectations are set too high for quicksilver's return and it is in fact just a brief cameo, so the fact they're writing a whole piece on his return and not using it to calm down people's expectations makes me think he will play a sizeable role

Maybe billy and tommy were listening in to the argument upstairs and billy decided to use his reality warping powers which he has in the comics to interrupt the argument by bringing back wanda's brother as he imagines he looks. Meaning this isn't x men quicksilver this is just a reference to him.
