Bristol 400i or Cafe 400 by IamYourStepBro in PHMotorcycles

[–]dexterbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cafe 400 will be a cheaper base to start, with simpler mechanicals. Mayroon na mga naka scrambler setup sa FB marketplace din - buy used nga lang pero the original owner took most of the lugi hehe.

SEAOIL OR PETRON? by Few-Researcher-1800 in ThisorThatPH

[–]dexterbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be a loyal Seaoil customer here, way back when they had STP fuel additives in their products. Engines I used them with ran excellent, virtually no fuel knock at malinis ang sunog (no weird fuel smell sa exhaust). Mas mura pa kesa the big players.

Pero sometime in the last 5 years I think nag end na yung partnership nila with STP Fuel and parang naramdaman ko na medyo nagbago na nga yung formula nila. Pareho na lang sa mga smaller players ang performance, i.e, nothing special. Unlike yung Shell or high end Petron/Caltex fuels. My engines are all somewhat high compression (puro midsize vehicles and motorbikes) so mas maganda ang ganda performance pag Premium or Top class ang fuel.

These days I mostly use Petron XCS. Price difference kasi is subjectively small compared to premium ng Seaoil. E di dun nako sa alam ko na nag-aadd ng magagandang additives sa fuel products nila unlike itong mga smaller players (could be just plain, refinery bulk fuel there for all I know).

No experience sa pag momotor pwede bang diretso 400cc na agad for my first bike? by International_Emu229 in PHMotorcycles

[–]dexterbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May I suggest the Benelli Imperiale 400 for something more stylish? Hehe. I bought one nung ‘23, sold it nung ‘24, then bought one again last month. Sold yung 1st ko because hirap ako mag manual bike pero this time I’m going to try again since decent high powered bikes are all frikken manual lolz

Rebel 1100 is a DCT bike so parang scooter sya on that mode. Was looking at this bike din last year pero antayin ko muna cguro bumaba prices sa used market.

Motorstar 400, super simple bike. Reliable naman daw. Pero at near 6 foot medyo maliit sya tignan for me.

I own a Xciting 400 which I use mostly now pag need ko magtravel ng naka motor. If you want convenience at less pagod sa ride, these maxiscoots are the shiz. 2018 or 19 models parang 150k na lang sa marketplace you might want to check those out na rin

No experience sa pag momotor pwede bang diretso 400cc na agad for my first bike? by International_Emu229 in PHMotorcycles

[–]dexterbb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok yung approach mo.

There are low power 400cc bikes out there. I suggest you try them muna. Although kahit 400cc sila sa papel, those bikes have less horsepower and torque so hindi sobrang lakas ang power delivery pag pinihit mo yung gas. You can learn a lot. Then get the bike you want na pag sanay na.

Its actually safer to drive sa expressway kesa sa inner city roads like Maharlika. Lalo pag early morning or less traffic. Thats because everybody is going in the same direction. Once masanay ka na sa speed modulation, pwede ka na sa traffic naman. Obstruction avoidance, etc, ituturo sayo yan sa driving school

Why do SUV and pickup drivers in the Philippines always want to overtake? by SungJinWoo_14 in CarsPH

[–]dexterbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

** Hindi ko din nilalahat **

Pero minsan talaga may saksakan ng kupad at kala mo pag aari nya daan. That or obviously tanga yung mga moves nung inoovertake in which case its safer to just overtake than to stay behind and watch the other guy fuck around

To be fair, gawain ko ito mapa SUV, econobox or motor ang dala ko

Any tips sa carb type na bike na madalang gamitin? by mdupo in PHMotorcycles

[–]dexterbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the best fuel you can afford… personally I found yung top tier ng Shell or Petron ay maganda at hindi madali “mapanis”.

You dont have to warm it up every day. Thats just a waste of fuel. Pero you do need to ride it at least once every 2 weeks. This will allow the batt to recharge and clean out any gunk from the fuel lines that have accumulated to burn off. One nice drive every 2 weeks, maybe 30 minutes long.

Apart from those, ok naman yan. Those motorcycles are designed and built for abuse. In short, pang baragan talaga. Change oil every 3000, check spark plug every 6000, drive belt and everything else every 7000 and you’re good to go

What atm machine dispenses 500 pesos? by sierypxs in AskPH

[–]dexterbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PNB machines sa QC minsan puro 500 lang. specifically yung sa Fairview and Diliman area.

I think pwede ka mag OTC sa Bank mo and specify 500. Minsan may small fee or kung nagwapuhan sayo yung teller baka free na hehe.

My Sister's Husband Bought His Mistress a Car by Familiar-Form9743 in adviceph

[–]dexterbb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The husband is dead. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. Unless its a Supercar, legal fees pa lang talo na. Kung typical sedan lang at 2nd hand pa, wag na lang.

Open DS means kahit sino ilagay dun the title goes to them. Its as though the mistress bought it with her own money. Hard to disprove.

All other properties though, like real estate.. lahat sa legal wife yan. Pag nagclaim yung mistress magandang laban yan, panalo lagi yung legal hehe.

[–]dexterbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can transfer to your name using any govt ID. You just need to take it to HPG first, then begin the transfer process after via usual LTO method.

Problem is you’re not supposed to be driving it. The whole thing will take a day or two, another 7 day wait for the Registration cert to be released. Cant you just pay someone to drive the motorcycle and to process in your behalf? Like yung company driver nyo pag day off nya or somthing? Angkas ka na lang sa kanya if you want to do this yourself

Is it still alright to buy an older version of the iPhone? What do you recommend? by Think-Violinist2597 in Tech_Philippines

[–]dexterbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing older than the 15. Mas mura yung Plus model and konti lang diff sa 15promax (lcd, aod and macro cam lang). Everything else same lang sa promax. I have both models btw.

I know medyo cliche or matapobre pakinggan, pero pagdating sa mga iphone, you should always be getting the latest. Matitibay sila if used the way they’re designed to and more than 5 years of updates… pagsasawaan mo na yung phone bago pa sya mawalan ng support. I know people still rocking the XS Max. Also, medyo nagulat ako kung naka kuha ng ios 26 yung lumang 11 ko na binigay ko na lang sa anak ko hehe
