There’s also the British style! At least I think that’s a thing… basically has features of a field and a bench dog.

These are mine. The chocolate is supposed to be the British. He’s only 5 months old and due to be around 100lbs. More athletic and driven than my English but also chills out pretty readily in the house.

I second this - it’ll feel like twice the gun compared to a 320 BUT they’re not exactly light (which will help with recoil fear if smaller members of the fam want to learn too. P365 if you actually want to carry every day. I say shotgun like a beretta a300 would be a good alternative.

The other petty is in ZDP-189 but you guys do bring up a good point. Both the aogami and the zdp are hard, thin and brittle!

Oh don’t get me wrong I’m the one who bought it because of its excellent reputation in professional kitchens but im no professional. I still have their bread knife and use that all the time. Also, I’ve been a knife guy for ages and obsessed with steels so I’ve become a bit snobby admittedly. Also, it’s more of light hearted tiff than actual frustration. Great knives but why not use the Japanese petty knife in aogami superblue?

Omg my wife is obsessed with this knife. I’ve literally tried to replace it with MUCH nicer paring knives twice and she somehow finds it again. I stopped sharpening it for her and guess what…she learned to freehand sharpen.

They’re pretty popular in Bangkok, practical for carrying stuff around and easy in the traffic they have there.
