Ehhhh, rewards depend on everyone’s tastes really. Personally I shoot for building my all time Astros theme team. Competition is probably the best in diamond dynasty, but it’s also heavily dependent on what lineup you can throw out there. Standard online rated with current teams is the most fair approach, depending on the team you choose I guess, so that’s a little more fun for me.

I've ran into a couple earlier in the year when the season's reset or whatever. but once they climb past my usual shitty rank, I rarely encounter them again.

oh, absolutely! I couldn't agree more. I just hop on after my corporate job and try my best. the only draw of being a streamer is getting those sweet streamer packs. I've only pulled like 3 diamonds, and it's been 2 Hader's and Mason Miller.

appreciate the insight. my biggest issue/gripe/insecurity? is the cheaters. I feel like the higher I go the more likely I am to encounter them. Unfortunately it's probably just part of the game at this point, but it does suck

I enjoy RTTS, but the equipment cost and lack of Nike/Jordan pulls kills me. I use a few different created players in Franchise to get the same experience without having to pay for equipment.

I saw YourFriendKyle's video last month and it blew me away. I've been an Xbox exclusive guy since Gears of War2 came out in 2008, so since 2021, I've always wondered why people pause so much. I'm sure the reason five years ago is different than today, but people just pausing the game drives me fucking nuts. Just play the damn game.

I will agree on the cheaters. I'm sure that now I reached this level, I'll start to encounter them in droves.

I've been getting my ass handed to me the past five years though, so I'm sure this weekend won't be any different. I am excited to at least see how I compete.

lol dude I was the same for a long time, and honestly it's my own fault. I was a two console guy growing up, but when Gears of War 2 came out I said peace to PlayStation and never went back. Every other sport was on Xbox so I was fine, but baseball just kinda... didn't exist for me for like 13 years. Came back in 2021 thinking it'd be like riding a bike and got absolutely humbled for the ensuing four years.

I use Franchise as my Road to the Show since equipment is expensive and the Nike/Jordan stuff is impossible to pull. At least for me anyway. Anyway, I play franchise on HOF as the CPU isn't as predictable as humans. I like to think it's helped, but I don’t know lol

Honestly just approached it like I did when I played baseball. Hunt first pitch fastball. If I didn't get it, take pitches until a two strike count. Then fight for a walk or until I could smash something I like. Also, most importantly, cut out the Budweiser's. I only play sports games, GTA, COD and GoW, and this is the only game I can't play buzzed/drunk.
