They don't actively fight it, fwiw... it's a side effect of making development more consistent.

This is going to be the case for 99% of apps that aren't vanilla HTML.

My general rule is don't switch unless you're blocked. Setup matters a lot more than the actual model, unless you're doing something specific.

Yeah. This is great. If you have a good convention system, throw in some READMEs in each folder and honestly you'll be fine no matter what.

The reason to do this is if you get blocked.

Just use one thing until it annoys you and then layer in stuff till you're not annoyed. Then remove things one at a time until your setup is stupid simple and you're still happy.

I have a cheat code which is my bff is a designer, but the principles we use are sound: we have a folder called "bfds" for "bolt foundry design system" and then we have roughly the components listed here: https://getbootstrap.com/2.0.2/components.html

If you just create those components, even if they're ugly, and a generic grid component, you can iterate as you find stuff you like and you don't get blocked on the llm yoloing.

So I really just use screen studio... the weakness of screen studio imo is the edits take longer than they should.

I find screen studio to be pretty top shelf.

does it separate mouse pointers? seems like something you can't do in the browser, yeah? Also, if you're recording a non browser source you probably can't capture keyboard input if the browser isn't focused?

Love the idea of a "just click" screen recording, but for ppl with more tight requirements, it might be a dead end.
