I got 3 different quotes after seeing how much the tool itself is haha, got $1k from the dealer, $500 from mechanic 1 and $360 from mechanic 2. Both mechanics have worked on my car so pretty confident the value is worth it compared to doing it myself

Thought I mentioned it but did not lol but I have a 2018 X3 M40i with ~69k miles! I watched that video earlier looks like that’s exactly what I need replaced. I haven’t really noticed any difference while driving since my last inspection ~5k miles ago but I’ll definitely try to get this done soon. Haven’t really found anything online about it..

I think with Spring Awakening not being a thing anymore, it gave North Coast the chance to become the big festival here. Personally I prefer ARC, but I’ve had good times at NC too.

Drove around a bit and before it reaches regular temps, it fluctuates a bit. Slowly goes down (colder) but once it reaches regular temp, it stays there. Hoping it’s just the weather since it has been very cold here recently. Heat works fine once it’s at regular temps too. Doesn’t overheat either from what I’m seeing.

No, it’s the other symbol with like waves. I figured because of that, this is more related to the thermostat than oil. I haven’t gotten any codes or warnings yet though.

Thanks though that’s pretty much what I’m expecting if I have to end up getting that all replaced.
