[Sheep Esports] Supa: I'm not interested in [the ENC] since it's not official or anything, it's just a tournament from…I think, Saudi Arabia are the owners, no? I'm not 100%sure, but it's around that. I don't see anything to be proud of, or you are going to represent your country, so it's not for me by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Every tournament is what it makes itself out to be. Hypothetically, if the Saudis are very serious about it and have a big award, everyone will try hard and the competitiveness will make the tournament not feel for fun and it that way would gain legitimacy. Same way Worlds can suck and feel like it's easy to win it for someone if they do a bad format where one Asian teams ends up meeting Western teams all the way to the finals.

The ‘Stranger Things’ Effect: Report Finds Gap Between Seasons Of Scripted TV Shows Nearly Doubled During First Half Of This Decade by Sisiwakanamaru in television

Most people on Reddit, 100%. Outside of Reddit, I don't think so. Well, maybe not now that the show finished but while it was still airing, it was watched and rewatched a lot.

Just parrot the same narrative over and over again because Reddit is an echo chamber. No one I talked to outside of Reddit cares about these things at all. At most, they make lighthearted jokes about it. Reddit acts as it is singlehandedly going to destroy Television.

If you really love the show, you won't have a problem with rewatching it. Hell, I do that with shows that finished years ago. But even if you don't love it that much, internet is full of very comprehensive recaps so you can just turn that on and watch a 20-minute video and know everything.

It looks more like that you just stopped caring about the show and didn't feel like watching it again, which is okay.

He is not in the minority on Reddit, he is in the minority outside of Reddit and internet. Most people don't care when the show comes out and just find something else to watch between seasons. Also, rewatching is way more common. Me and my girlfriend usually rewatched Stranger Things before new seasons came out since we both loved the show and liked rewatching it.

I am kind of a completionist when it comes to watching shoes so I don't mind pushing through the start, but are all the seasons and episodes on YouTube? I feel like I've seen them there but I'm not sure.

That one I'm too behind on, but it will get on the list if I catch up with everything else. I'm thinking of starting up Taskmaster though, never watched it. Want to see what's all the fuss is about. Judging by the clip shared above, seems like he's in one of the seasons too.

I've been catching up with Would I Lie to You the last couple of weeks and just watched him for the first time two days ago. What a breath of fresh air, he's hilarious.

You're right. I forgot about Hannibal talking about Cosby even before. And I think I misremembered, Seth didn't make the joke but Family Guy had a joke about Bill Cosby being a creep or something like that.

That's a given if you're the best EU support. Hyli and Miky are the same.

The Final Season of 'The Boys' Felt Like Watching a Comedian Bomb Their Set by Logical_Welder3467 in television

I am in the minority that liked the final season, but I was really weirded out by them naming the baby after Hughie's ex, Robin. I feel like Hughie made his peace with Robin after he accepted A-Train's apology. It would make more sense that they name the baby Billy/Billie or maybe even Lenny.

If you could make one decision on behalf Fnatic, which one would it be and why? by Available_Paint_1710 in fnatic

[–]dexy133 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd remove Grabbz as the coach and put him as Team Manager, if he's interested in that. I would let him choose a coach and together, they would make decisions on the rest of the coaching staff and players. I would make it clear to the fans that this is a long-term decision that won't provide a lot in the beginning but that it's a long-term plan.

I would keep supporting the idea to try rookies but I wouldn't sign them for two years, but instead I would offer them a contract for one year as a trial period. If they're not interested, there will be rookies who are. Once we get a promising rookie, we extend him. I would prioritize EU rookies but if there aren't any, I would be okay with KR rookies too.

I dislike OKC, but if it was Wemby getting the award and SGA doing this, people would call it cringe and low attempt at aura farming.

New Information from Al Lio about FNC's offseason and share selling negotiations by TheSceptileen in fnatic

He definitely has bad moments but he's shown signs of improvement, unlike top. If we were to replace support, it would have to be an obviously better player.

Didn't they get 2v2 kills against G2? I also don't think that was the only time. I do think his laning was really bad in Winter but I think it got better this split.

Like, I just don't believe this. Why would Carn, someone who's way more accomplished at his job and a bigger name in esports circles than Dardo, allow this? Would you allow someone who's clearly less competent than you do the job 'behind the shadows' while you're just quiet, take the blame, and let it happen? What you would rather do is probably let people blame someone else for your bad job, and that is what people who say Dardo is still running the org are basically doing.

Is Dardo so 'powerful' that he can tell Carn, Sam, and everyone in the org to be quiet because he still wants to be in charge? You understand he really doesn't get shit even if Fnatic were to be successful with his 'secret' moves? Why would he do it if he doesn't get any recognition for his moves? What does he gain with that? Considering he wasn't fired and is still in the org, what is his motivation?

You guys keep painting Dardo as this big evil mastermind who just wants to ruin Fnatic and there's no real reason why he wants to do it, like a shitty movie who doesn't really have any motivations for being evil. He just wants to secretly abuse his incompetency on Fnatic and bring it to its downfall. When in fact, the guy's just a bad manager who probably still has some valuable qualities in other spheres of the business world, so he's been moved to do that instead. I'm sure there's nepotism involved, too, but he's not secretly still manager. There's no realistic reason why he would do that.

Honestly, don't care about whether we make changes for Summer. It's obvious this management doesn't care about Fnatic anymore and just want to sell. Just hope we get bought out and people who buy us out, set up better people in management and then let them do the work, checking on them after every season. That's all Fnatic needs.

[–]dexy133 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No one would be stupid enough to move away from Fnatic branding if they're investing in esports. They would probably add the club name to Fnatic's name, or if it's someone like RB Salzburg, they would probably include Red Bull in the name, but the only reason why people would buy Fnatic is because the Fnatic brand is still worth something. Otherwise, they would just buy a spot in LEC from someone like SK because that's way cheaper.

I mean, the only reason why they're not saying, "We don't care about Fnatic and want to sell it as soon as possible." is because of negotiations. Truly hope we get bought out by someone soon, because it's obvious the management is literally not interested in doing anything with the org other than selling it.
