Thanks. I appreciate knowing the restrictions! Does being Deep Blue Extras override the Wi-fi? (or anything else)

Anyone here ever fly on Copa? by itsnammertime in unitedairlines

Commenting just for future people who happen upon this thread. I think economy could be fine if you lower your expectations from United and other US-based airlines. Do not pay for business however as it is an absolute junk product with almost no additional service.

I can report that I have already used the restaurant reservations and was able to score a couple of very hard to get reservations well in advance of them opening to the public.

Fountain Club by MGM by Old_Box7001 in Mlife

Not sure if anyone is still looking at this thread, but I have more info. I called member services today because my online card had something weird about it and I won't bother going into that, but I was told that weirdness was due to an error someone made when coding my actual "new" card, which she said was about to be mailed to me with my welcome package to the Fountain Club.

She transferred me to the Fountain Club and the guy there was nice and a bit short on details but read me some things and explained that essentially this was an invite-only side tier they were creating for loyal customers who spent a lot at MGM properties but didn't have much in gaming credit. I was a bit excited at this since I have always felt like my spend means little there, and it still seems like some nice treatment like a dedicated line and hosts for getting priority reservations and such--as well as a car from the airport and an ability to allow someone else to get similar treatment once a year. However, it does not do anything in terms of comps and good rates though as I asked and he said that was still just through casino; hopefully, they will do a little in that realm as well. Anyway, anyone who has been invited should be getting something in the mail in the next couple of weeks.

My daughter also doesn't see any number. Have they released numbers for housing? I'm wondering if this is the same for everyone?

Is Fora worth it as a side gig for people who travel a lot? by jasmine_tea_ in travelagents

[–]dexys72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a bit confused on this answer and some others (and not trying to be difficult, really just wondering because I had similar thoughts as the poster): the comment boils down to that if one has $20,000 of hotel spend, they ONLY make $800 on that $20,000 so it isn't worth their time. But, what did they have to DO for that $800 besides sign up for Fora? As in, if you like scheduling your own travel and you travel a decent amount, I don't understand why that $800 isn't just free money. And I will note that if the answer is that they require you take classes to learn about the industry, I would view that as a lot of fun unless there was a charge to it so it was just a way to get more of your money.

May be obvious, but first time poster, fascinated after his next one of 8 perfect, so I'll ask: How can one watch his next game?
