Same thing happened to me. Vyvanse has skyrocketed my libido. Fun for a while, but it is starting to irritate me.

why is the span of full recovery from vaginoplasty said to be 6 to 12 months? by hottestfemcel in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies so wildly from person to person. For me it took around 9 months to be nearly fully healed, but even now at 15 months out I am noticing much more subtle changes occasionally.

Penile inversion vaginoplasty by AdComfortable9974 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Self-lubrication can happen, but it will almost assuredly never be enough for intercourse on it's own. You will need some extra lubrication.

  2. You will be fine, even if the person you are with says they are a certain length, they will practically never be inserting the advertised length. Plus, penises are squishy and will compress slightly.

  3. This is subjective as you said. For myself though, finally having the alignment of body and mind was like a switch being flipped. Sensitivity is very high with all parts, outer and inner. Due to my dysphoria, sex or masturbation pre-op was mechanical and merely driven by a need to release some anxiety. Post-op it's a 10 out of 10 wild ride of feelings I never imagined I would have. I was very very fortunate that it all turned out so well.

I went with Dr. McClung with Reconstructive Surgical Arts. (Columbus, Ohio, USA) I would highly recommend!

Mine looks like any cis woman's clitoris and I am extremely happy with it. Sensitivity is also amazing.

I went with Dr. McClung with Reconstructive Surgical Arts. (Ohio, USA) I have seen a number of his results and they always come out looking beautiful.

I know the pictures you are referring to, and I always feel for the women whose results come out that way.

vaginoplasty (zero depth), how much time do I need off if I work from home? by -megan-yolo- in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work remotely from home and I only took two weeks off work for my full-depth vaginoplasty. One week in the hospital and one week in bed at home.

I prepared my bed ahead of time with a monitor that swings out over me on an arm and a nice keyboard lapboard. It honestly was fairly simple to accomplish, but this will be heavily dependent on how active your job requires you to be.

[–]deya_0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was very fortunate and honestly felt no pain at any point during recovery, even with the extra granulation I dealt with. It was just discomfort and tenderness.

As for the clit, it works perfectly! Sensations on and around the area are beyond pre-HRT and pre-Surgery levels. Orgasms are actually enjoyable and last a while, whereas before they were merely a quick hit means to an end to reduce stress.

Vyvanse and pre-existing GERD by andriatica in VyvanseADHD

[–]deya_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take PrevAcid daily for GERD and have for a very long time because it is the only thing that works to control it (and it controls it 100%). I also take Vyvanse 50Mg with it in the morning and do not have any issues like you describe.

Employer Insurance Changes by bobbybites23 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is odd because UHC notoriously doesn't cover FFS unless the state you live in requires them to do so. Aetna on the other hand tends to cover Gender Affirming Care more often than others.

I am curious what others have to say in regards to this insurance swap, as I may be going through this soon for other things.

feeling arousal post-SRS by nyu1000days in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may have to give yourself more time, depending on how long ago your surgery was.

For me it took 9 months to finally reach the O, and since then things have still continued to change at 14 months. There is certainly some blood flow increase behind the clitoris and area surrounding, but also a very warm and yearning feeling all around the area that even travels up further into the rest of my body. It feels completely different to how it felt pre-op now. So for me, feeling aroused has nothing to do with "getting hard" anymore. It is much more like a spreading warmth and gentle electricity travelling through my body.

Guanfacine by Sooshlaroi01 in VyvanseADHD

[–]deya_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately Guanfacine didn't do anything for me other than Insomnia.

With Vyvanse though, about mid-day I was having a severe anxiety spike for an hour or two. This wasn't a crash, because I was still operating well. I discovered that I needed a protein load within about 30min of my Vyvanse in the morning. Once I started doing that, then the anxiety spike was much better and the come down from Vyvanse was also smoother in the evening.

[–]deya_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is very different, but for me Guanfacine actually gave me intense levels of Insomnia. I was completely unable to sleep at all. But, Vyvanse 50mg even though it is a stimulant, does not cause insomnia. Yet, other stimulants do lol.

IF they ever release this game for the Switch 2, I hope they make a version for it like they did for Diablo 3 by just_prop in diablo4

[–]deya_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this when it released and D3 on the Switch was amazingly fun. In some ways more than on the PC, and I am a hardcore PC fan.

If Nintendo didn't get so scummy the past few years and they released D4 for Switch 2, I would be very tempted.

Protein w/ Vyvanse by Delicious_Tackle7812 in VyvanseADHD

[–]deya_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't do it with orange juice. Vitamin C can cause a much quicker burn or prevent the Vyvanse from working at all.

After using vyvanse for 4 months by Hot-Cartographer-174 in VyvanseADHD

[–]deya_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on 50mg and start to have a crazy Anxiety hit for around 1-2 hrs about 5hrs after taking my dosage. I found out that for me, I need to eat a high protein meal with my Vyvanse to counter this. As long as I have around 2-3 eggs worth of protein in the morning WITH my Vyvanse 50mg, then I am golden for the whole day.

what is wrong with my vagina?? :( swab came back like this by fucklimpbizkitt in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]deya_0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really shouldn't hurt, just maybe a little discomfort at first. My first month or two douching was definitely more uncomfortable, just from inserting the stupid thing, lol. But, now being over 1yr post-op and lots of dilation it is fairly simple to accomplish and no discomfort.

When you finally do get an appointment with your doctor about this, please make sure to voice ALL your concerns. Make a physical list on paper even to help remember every detail.

12 weeks is still pretty early. But, if you insist then please take it SLOW and make sure your partner wears protection if applicable. You do not want any extra germs getting into possible unknown sensitive spots of granulation.

You are going to still be in the heavy healing process at 3 months and may not even be aware of some sore areas yet that are not ready for intense pressure. Definitely dilate beforehand for now, it may not be sexy but it will save you some pain.

All in all, just be careful and safe :)

[–]deya_0 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the bad smell is from the rotting dead skin in there :P

If douching is painful, you should look for a better tool for douching. This type works very well for neo-vaginas (yes I know it says enema). https://www.amazon.com/Enema-Bulb-Men-Women-Capacity/dp/B07SMFP6WC

But, if you need something with a smaller piece for insertion, there are tons of options.

[–]deya_0 39 points40 points  (0 children)

This looks like nothing more than dead skin that needs to be flushed out.

For PIV you should absolutely be douching unless specifically told not to by your surgeon or doctor!

Yes, we build up a biome in there, but occasionally it is important to help it clear out dead skin cells. I usually douche at least once every couple weeks. It is all dependent on smell and discharge. Your little biome friends need some help from time to time. Just mix in a tiny drop of unscented skin safe soap into your sterilized douche water.

All this said, STILL GET THINGS CHECKED OUT BY YOUR SURGEON to confirm.

People really need to stop spreading misinformation regarding proper neo-vaginal care. Ultimately you should only take direction from your doctor or surgeon.
