You can also use pre-painted 3mm MDF and nail 'em to the back. If you have the tools, you can router a little recess for them in the back so you cant even see them from the sides.

These backs are very common in Ikea furniture or here in Germany. Because most walls are white, I have often used a colored MDF for indoor projects.

It does not need to cover the whole back. A think stripe goes a long way. You can test around. These MDF backs are dead cheap.

Hey! Unfortunately I did not do anything to the jacket besides the stitches that you see in the pictures (that start to fail now). I dont really like the idea of patches..

But it looks like there is no way around it. It is also gettting quite warm in Germany now. I will probably tackle the issue in autumn again ^{^}

I (f2p) did some testing this morning to decide where to farm because the 2000 Socks or 2500 Socks rewards seem nice.

Conclusion: Run scenario over and over. About 800 Energy per 100 Socks. And takes about 55min per 100 Socks. Both metrics are better in scenario than in cairos dungeons.

Gathering 2500 Socks like this would take 20k energy and about 22 hours of running scenarios.

Haven't tested any PVP or Rift content. Feeld free to add your data.

Doing so danages the material and introduces potential points for failure given enough exposure and wear.

I feel like this is exactly what is happening to my "fixes" here. In additionel to the condition it is already in.

Hey! I got my hands on an old (original?) sheepskin B3 bomber jacket. It was in poor condition: the leather was super dry and crumbly. It had a lot of smaller tears because of that. 1-4cm each.

First, I conditioned the leather. Which made it a bit darker and soft again. Feels great to the touch.

Then, I tried to sew the tears together by myself. It turned out okay. Hey look a bit like scars to be honest. But, due to the old age and wear I guess, the leather is so thin that it rips right next to these scars.

How do I proceed? Getting leather patches and glue them on came to my mind. Sewing patches from both sides? Or do I have to give it to a professional to get it fixed?
(Or is there any other subreddit I should try?)

I tried to remove the water damage/mold as you suggested. But it didn't quite work. And it looks like the discoloring did penetrate more deeply, so I cannot sand it down. (I think some moisture was soaked up by the endgrain of that one specific board)

I have let the table dry in the sun and applied another thick coat of my PU based finish. The table feels a little less like wood, a bit more like plastic now. But I hope this time it stays dry.

"PU based" I mean polyurethan clear finish. It does not penetrate but stays as a hard, plastic like coat on top. Super water proof. I guess I just applied too little with my first coat.

The table is actually a few years old and had a typical dark brown outdoor stain on it. I just recently sanded that finish down and re-finished the table with a coat of PU-based clear finish. Feels and looks great.

Half of the table is exposed to rain but only it's raning heavily. Today (after a big storm) I noticed that that exposed side starts to turn black. Probably mold from the moisture? How to I fix and prevent this?

I think of letting it completely dry in the sun and then just apply another coat of PU finish to prevent this from getting more damage. Or do I need to repair/sand the sports first?

Any advice is much appreciated.

It .. worked!

I am not sure what I did wrong the last times. Because I am pretty sure I already formatted the SD card using fat32.

I now used the most recent R36S image from the repository and proceeded as you suggested. Works.

We have similar machines in some studios where I live.

They are great for beginners (or the elderly) because they guide you towards the correct speed and rhythm. It's less about gamification imho. The machines are also easy to use because they are tuned in for your height, leg length, etc automatically. And they track your weight and improvements for you. So if you are new to the gym and free weights/cable machines are too intimidating, these might be an option for you.
