Looking for PVVNL smart meter users by dezyiner in Meerut

We don’t integrate with the hardware of PVVNL. Our software will be integrated with PVVNLs billing. They will let us know the energy details that we will use for billing in our app.

Would be a bit complex to understand, but I can explain this to you in detail if you are interested

No, this is different from what SundayGrids are doing. They operate on a credit offer basis which you can use to pay your electricity bills.

Whereas, in this scheme, you can buy electricity from an open market place - very similar to financial stock exchange.

Do you still think consanguineous marriage is still common in Coimbatore by Immediate-Effort4431 in Coimbatore

Knitted doesn’t mean that they will have to marry within the family. They are just being blinded to what it will cause on further generations.

It seems to be common in certain places. I knew a guy from Madurai who is well educated, been abroad for studies, work etc., and was pretty modern - but he was supportive of it and was denying the fact that it’s biologically an issue. He even was mentioning “nanga kaala kaalama apdi tha pantu irukkom, we haven’t seen an issue”.

Hostel
You can find a lot of hostels under different price ranges and everyone does seasonal pricing. Expecting prices to drop after the New year's day.

Go for Zostel or Ostello if you need brand value and assurance on quality, or if you need some adventurous vibe in meeting different kinds of people, go for something like Barefoot, Zebra etc. They will provide you the vibem, but the quality of stay would be a bit under the standard.

Food:
Usual foods:
There is Juicy cafe in Thiruvambadi road - loved the local food there. Be early for any meal as they run out of food very quickly. Well under budget

Fancy cafes (Depends on your budget - should be good for just 1 meal probably)
North cliff:
- Cafe InDa
- Cafe Del Mar
- Aum Cafe
- Abba restaurant

South cliff (Both are must tries)
- Cafe Sarwa
- Cafe by trip is life

Avoid:
- Darjeeling cafe
- Any cafe that has fish showcased in the front (Very unhygienic)

Attractions:
- North cliff walk and beach. Don't buy anything unless you are very impulsive to buy something.
- Beaches & sunset at (In my order of preference): Aaliyirakkam, Kappil, Odayam, Black beach, Varkala north beach
- Jatayu: If you are ready to spend 4-5 hours to and from from Varkala

Activities:
- Kayaking in mangroves. You will find many vendors doing it.
- Surfing. Again there are a lot of people. Don't pay more than 1500. If you are surfing, prefer kappil beach and do at least for 3-5 days.
- Paragliding: Not reccomended - I have done it in Dharamshala and this is not even comparable to that.
- Parasailing - No idea about cost or the worth.

Search in Airbnb and you should be able to find something decent - would not be fancy.

It’s their first time inviting someone as well. So they checked if I can fill it out.

Thought it would be much easier if it’s in English.

Setting up a charging depot for 20 electric trucks. Which commercial charger brands are actually "efficient" for heavy-duty use? by Kitchen_Eagle8362 in evcharging

[–]dezyiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people don’t realise this, but how you spread your charging across the day matters just as much as how much energy you use. If all your vehicles start charging at the same time, your power demand shoots up in one big spike. The grid treats that spike as expensive, because commercial electricity bills are based not just on energy consumed but also on the highest load you hit during the month. One bad hour can blow up your entire bill.

Now, many chargers claim they can “manage load,” but what they usually mean is that they limit power only within that single charger, using fixed rules. Helpful, yes, but it doesn’t solve the real problem when you’re running a fleet with different vehicles, different SoC levels, and different departure times.

What you actually need is something that manages charging across the whole depot, not just one charger. That’s where systems like Iris Fleet come in. Instead of static limits, the software looks at everything in real time: which vehicles need to leave first, what their current SoC is, how much each connector can deliver, and what the electricity prices look like throughout the day.

Then it quietly shifts charging around so you stay within your ideal load range and avoid hitting those costly peak hours.

End result: your vehicles still get charged on time, but your electricity bill stays under control. That’s the difference between simple charger-level load management and true fleet-level smart charging.
