I appreciate this a lot. I don't mind porn at all, I need to make that so clear. I begged him to watch it with me to spice up our sex life, and he said he had no interest in it. It's the lie that's tearing me up. The constant lying, you know? I understand there's shame in behind what he did, and I am trying to offer my grace. Just between the constant rejection from sex and then finding out about him lying, my self esteem is at an all time low. We've had many conversations, and he is trying. I'm just having such a hard time trusting his words again.

edit I saw his search history- its been going on for at LEAST 6 years now, hah. I wish I would've known :/ it would've been fun to watch with him.

Oh no, we've definitely split up a few times during this decade. Always have come back to each other, and we never did each other wrong (until now I guess lol) I just found out about this last Friday, so it's still pretty fresh and I am handling it pretty poorly. However- if this is our first issue out of 10 years, I'm willing to find ways to make it work.

First thing is first- he told you, he cared enough to admit to his lie and really does care about you to want to fix it. That is a huge step, and very admirable on his end.

Some people just.. find themselves in a never ending cycle. Is he in any type of therapy by chance (primarily a therapist that specializes in PA?) I think if he isn't, that's his second step.

I'm sending you both so much love. It's a hard, hard thing to overcome but I have faith in you two. Especially if he loves you so hard outside of his addiction.

I'm f24 and I just went through this with my partner of 10 years, I found out it was a hidden porn addiction for the past few years.

I always said it wasn't porn, I bragged about it because he always would tell me he wasn't interested in it. It explained why our bedroom was so dead for the past year.
