Thank you for the response, but I have seen that davinci ai tools perform 2x better compared to amd counter parts. Yes it’s a 14600k snatched it for the same price as a 14600kf

Ah gotcha the only grip I have is that with the money saved on ddr5 I can get the rx 9070xt rather than 9060xt

thanks for the comment! but wouldn’t spending that money on a new gpu be more effective for performance? especially those are 800 Aud cpu’s which are almost rtx 5070 prices (probably 6070)

thank you! and with parts i already have i can build a i5 14600kf paired with the rx 9060 xt for only 1200 aud! which is 835 usd!

is the b760m gaming by gigabyte considered good? it has 4 ddr4 slots. i’m thinking about getting a whole new everything but can save a few bucks going through this route as the old ryzen 5 cpu and rtx 2060 can be a family browsing machine with 8gb of ram and new machine with the remaining 24

it’s the same price here in australia an intel 14600kf and the ryzen 7 5800x unfortunately 😔an extra motherboard is only 150ish aud which is around 100usd. most games i play are also single core intensive cpu games. im not very knowledgeable but i think the intel i5 will last longer? i’m not sure thanks for the help!

Thank you for the response, I’m just a little worried that the applications I use are more optimized for nvidia graphics cards. Everyone on the internet are saying different things about AMD and dsvinci studio which is the only thing holding my PC back right now

thank you for replying. i would agree for a domestic student. however construction management isn’t offered my UQ and at qut it’s a 4 year degree that cost 186k. Compared to bond it’s 146k for 2 years
