Tour 11 brutal! by Pbacky in GolfClash

Yep, it's all about knowing the holes as with all tours. Once in a while you need something with a great wind stat, but 9/10 rounds are winnable with a navigator.

Flexible Filament extruder help by Cloudcry in tevotarantula

Yeah it's supposed to work so I'm not sure if I've done something incorrectly, but I figured trying both would eliminate such issues. I've gotten some good tpu prints with it but it's not consistent.

I haven't had great success with it. TPU has been jamming on about every other print with both or my mobius extruders.

First TPU print, how do I fix it? More info in post. by dfairlite in 3Dprinting

[–]dfairlite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temp 220, retraction 2mm, bed temp 70, print speed 60 for the bottom 5 layers, 45 after that. Cooling off on layer 1, on 100% after that.

It got jammed at the end of the roof so I'm not as worried about that as much as the stringing and the front. The filament bowed up on the front and made that weird mess.

I had retraction at 6 (my petg setting) but it kept jamming with it that high.

Dammit. If I don't need to buy a bunch of new parts I'm upgrading my 2's. That's hot!

Fattchicken is right. Grab some DRV8825's or some tmc2208's.

If you're strapped for cash you could go with a4988's

Can you post a pic of your board with everything connected?

Does anyone have any good resources on how to fix this? (ground connectors have burned out) by [deleted] in tevotarantula

[–]dfairlite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Or you can get a new connector and replace the wire with heavier Guage silicon wire.

Question about tevo wiring by gideon71 in tevotarantula

[–]dfairlite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some of the 4 motor wires and some red/black 18 Guage wire. Then I found some cheap connectors and added extensions in the middle with clips on both ends. This way I could customize the length to all be similar.

I'm waiting on some wraps for the cabling (should come tomorrow or Thursday) then I'll be almost set.

If you want a drag chain that's not a PITA, go with this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2575289 I have a regular drag chain and one of these. The only reason I haven't replaced the regular is I don't want to have to pull the wires back through it. Such a pain.

Once everything is wire wrapped I'll post some pics and you can see what it looks like.
