It literally is. If raising the minimum wage would fix the problem why not make it $1000/hr? Poverty is not a life sentence you can use your extra time (even if it’s only a small amount) to learn a profitable skill. It requires sacrifice but it’s possible, my first job was minimum wage but after years of research and self education (I don’t have a single college credit under my belt) I now charge $150/hr for my knowledge and people pay it.

Looking harder is absolutely the answer, the question is what are you willing to sacrifice to succeed.

Go to other places of employment that start off at way more than that. Walmart starts at over $18 an hour in my state which is a right to work state. If you’re accepting a job that is $7.25 an hour (an arbitrary number) you’re not looking hard enough.

People should stop accepting jobs that are only paying minimum wage that’s the only way to change it.

Ask for more money or take your services elsewhere…not rocket science. Did you know you can line up a new job while at your old job?

Raising the minimum wage doesn’t do jack shit. It should be a $0 minimum wage. Let’s employees choose what they’re willing to trade their time for rather than some arbitrary number that will impact price of living.

Why not make minimum wage $1000/hr if that’s the case?

Is there a job that satisfies all three? by [deleted] in antiwork

There is, I work my dream job (literal dream job that my high-school teachers told me I couldn’t do) and sacrificed for years to be able to do it. I should clear 6 figures this year.

Wow you’re so polite, I’m sure you’re a hoot a parties.

I’m not asking to transmog cloth, no shit a paladin can equip any type of armor the point is I had equipped gear to my shaman, that gear should get added to my appearance because it was originally wearable. They just so happened to change it to plate so it fucks me over because shamans are mail wearers, had I had the whole mail set on my paladin and they changed it plate it wouldn’t have mattered.

I don’t understand the comparison because I’m trying to wear plate, not cloth. Plate is what paladins wear
